Stand By MeStand by me was the first event we studied this term we were put intogroups of six to create a perfectly play ground on the 70s film stand by mebased on Stephen Kings Short story The Body, Stand By Me tellsthe storey of Gordie Lachance, a writer who looks back on his preteendays when he and three close friends went on their own take chances tofind the eubstance of a kid their age who had gone missing and presumeddead. The stakes atomic number 18 upped when the bad kids in town are closelytailing - and it becomes a race to see wholl be able to recover thebody first.We were presumption 30 minutes to gather an idea in our groups about a groupof friends who want to go on an adventure. We all were hot sitting inour groups as our char exemplifyers. We created a lull image of thecharacters before the adventure and our play was based on a series of6 still images.We all put our ideas in and produced a 10minute production. In ourproductions we used a number of dramatic dev ices such as monologues,still images, dramatic badinage and split scenes.Character ProfilesPaul-Is 12 he lives at home with his still and atomic number 91 and 5 siblings. She is looking at the adventure more likea pass and planning how many outfits she should take.Amy-====Is 13 and in foster care she is the laugher in the group she is veryboisterous and always wants to be with the boys she doesnt get onvery well with Lauren.
